Ben & Tori just became dance partners and needed to get their promotion rolling with head shots and promo photos. Ben is a dance instructor and owner of Eastside Stomp and Tori teaches there as well. Eastside Stomp features classes and swing dances, Tuesdays and Fridays, on the Eastside, often to live jazz music. Grace wanted to improve her online presence by appearing more professional online, so I photographed some head shots for her. We decided the first image was best for her LinkedIn account and her website gracebarkley.com. Grace specializes in helping small businesses with their social media needs.

Below are some portraits of the songwriter and performer Jesse Kimmel aka Red Jesse of the awesome hip-hop duo Dead Sea $crilla. I have known Jesse since pre-school, so it was especially fun for me to photograph him now. We went on a little adventure around NoDa Charlotte's Historic Arts District, for the photo shoot.
