Emily's Bridal Portraits • Davidson, NC

I recently photographed Emily's bridal portraits on a very warm summer day in Davidson, NC around the Davidson College campus. We started out in the guest house and then took a little adventure outside. Emily looked absolutely exquisite! Check out a few of my favorites from the shoot below.

Foodie Fridays • SweetCakes Bakery • Cornelius, NC

SweetCakes Bakery is quite a lovely gourmet cupcake shop located in Cornelius, NC and serves the entire Lake Norman area. It opened in 2008 by a mother and daughter team, Brenda Lord and Heather Allen who are two of the sweetest ladies. All of the cupcakes are baked fresh daily with all natural ingredients, many of which are from local farmers. Most importantly though, the cupcakes- are- amazing! I can honestly say I have tried nearly every flavor and they are all super delicious. My personal favorite is the Mississippi Mud pictured below. It's full of rich chocolaty goodness.
