When I was back in NC photographing Eleanor and Sean's wedding, I also had the opportunity to photograph a very sweet family. Brenda and Heather (mother/daughter) opened one of my all time favorite cupcake shops in Cornelius, NC, SweetCakes Bakery a few years ago and I had the honor of doing the photography for their website as well when they opened. If you are ever in Cornelius, you must try their cupcakes! Seriously. Brenda used some of the photos from their family portrait session for their Christmas cards this year. Check out some of my favorites of the extended family below. Cutest kids award.

Eleanor and Sean had such a loving and personalized wedding celebration. They got married at the gorgeous Fields of Blackberry Cove just outside of one of my favorite southern cities Asheville, NC. Eleanor and many of her friends and family are incredibly talented knitters. They created all of the flowers for the wedding and Eleanor made her own veil! Wow. A special thank you to Bren Dendy for being such a fantastic second shooter. Check out my favorite shots from Eleanor and Sean's wedding below.
A detail from Eleanor's handmade veil. It blew me away!
An Irish tradition between the officiant and the groom!
They skipped for joy as they exited the ceremony. Adorable.
Custom Converse sneakers with their wedding date on the side.
Father/Daughter air guitar first dance.
Karaoke went down during the reception. All of the groomsmen sang very enthusiastically for Sean.
