I photographed for both the Seattle Lindy Exchange and Northwest Follow Fest recently and wanted to share a few highlights from the Lindy Hop events with you! As many of you may know, I am a lindy hopper as well as a photographer and I love photographing dance events. :)

Lindy Focus XI • Dance Photography • Asheville, NC

Lindy Focus is an event that is near and dear to my heart. It is a week long explosion of Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, live music, competitions, performances, general shenanigans, parties, and an abundance of overwhelming joy. I have been at Lindy Focus for the past 4 years and it only gets better and better and BETTER! Here you can see a few of my favorite highlights from when I photographed it last year. Lindy Focus X...how do I even begin to explain the AWESOME that happened over New Years? Some of you may not know that besides my passion for photography, I have a huge love of dance, and especially Lindy Hop. Lindy Focus X gave me the opportunity to photograph and dance into 2012. Check out a few of my favorites from the 5 day event below! The performances from the NYE show "An Evening of Glamour and Glory" will be in the next post, so stay tuned. There were too many amazing moments to not give it it's own tribute.
