Children's Portraits • Eloise and Sophia • Savannah, GA

Eloise and Sophia are two of the cutest little girls I have ever gotten a chance to meet. We spent a lovely day together starting at Forsyth Park, then to Leopold's Ice Cream, and ending up at the Ellis Square interactive fountain! It was quite the adventure. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their family and children's portrait session.

Foodie Friday • The Starland Cafe • Savannah, GA

This week for Foodie Friday, I am featuring a little hidden Savannah gem called The Starland Cafe. They have lots of outdoor seating which is nice for the warm Savannah weather. You couldn't ask for kinder staff. Starland is seated right next to a dog park for all of you dog lovers out there. :) Then there's the food. Oh the food! They definitely have lunch covered, serving the freshest panini, soups and salads full of lovely and unique combinations of ingredients. A few of my favorite panini include The CBG and Turkey & Hummus. If you are a vegetarian (or just a lover of veggies) their "Everything But the Kitchen Sink" salad is to die for as well as many other vegetarian and vegan options. Did I mention the soups? The best Thai Tomato Soup, Potato Soup and Turkey chili of my life! Now for some iPhone photographs I snapped on my last visit there.

Daily Special: 1/2 sandwich +soup!                             The Menu

The fabulous sweet tea is always fresh and made from a variety of teas such as Earl Gray, Long Leaf, or Mango. (unsweet also available)
Greek Asparagus (vegeterian)                   The Spicy Turkey with Turkey Chilli Special

You bring a little animal sign to your table so they know where to bring your food.
My dress happened to match the restaurant that day so of course
I had my friend take a picture of me at the front.
Open Monday-Friday (11am-3pm)!

Ashley and Jon Tied the Knot in Savannah, GA!

Ashley and Jon really enjoyed the true Savannah experience for their special day. They got married in Savannah's first square Johnson Square. After an intimate ceremony we all hopped on an Old Savannah Trolley and headed to Savannah's largest park and popular tourist spot, Forsyth Park to take some photos.  Forsyth Park is of course home for the Forsyth Park Fountain which is one of Savannah's top tourist attractions. The lighting was just beautiful as the sun was beginning to set over the park.

This is my favorite photograph from their day. I think Ashley looks particularly stunning!

Jon surprised Ashley with a horse drawn carriage to bring Ashley to the ceremony with her father.

It was freezing outside so a very nice police officer let Ashley borrow her jacket after the ceremony. This is Ashley's "pose" as she puts it. :)

Crystal and Stephen Portrait Session

Crystal and Stephen are one of the nicest couples I have worked with. We had so much fun doing their portrait session at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge and a few little stops on the way back to downtown Savannah, GA. I can not wait to photograph their wedding in December! Here are a few of my favorites from their portrait session.
